Current teaching series: "The Acts of the Apostles" We're now in a teaching series based on chapters 13-20 of the Book of the Acts. Making Disciples in 2012 Learn to be a disciple of Jesus Christ as well as how to get personally involved in making disciples of others. This year our chosen church focus is "Making Disciples." During the year we'll be exploring what the Bible teaches about Christian discipleship and practical ways every one of us can be involved in disciple-making.
Women's ministries: fun and fellowship Women of Westside includes a variety of wonderful ministries organized by women for the women of our church and community. Bible reading is vital for getting to know God Reading and meditating on the Word of God is absolutely vital to our personal Christian growth. Though many Christians are regular Bible readers, others are not regularly getting into the Word. The Westside Bible Fellowship elders encourage everyone who is part of the Westside body to read and meditate on God's Word daily.
The Core: What we're passionate about What is really important in the life of our church?  What are our bottom-line goals?  Where do our passions lie? What's in a Name?

BuildingExterior_5We're a fellowship of ordinary folks who believe Christ is the all-sufficient Savior.

We're "Westside" because we meet in Hillsboro west of Portland, Oregon.

"Bible" is our middle name because we believe the Bible is authoritative and relevant for every situation we may face in this life and the life to come.

We're a "fellowship" because personal relationships are important to us.  We're learning to encourage and serve one another.
